Ubisoft won't release more games exclusive to the Wii U until Nintendo sells more Wii U systems, the president of the French gaming giant told Kotaku here at E3 this week. "We need more sold," Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot said during a brief interview. "They are coming with five of their biggest brands ever. And the Yen went down. So maybe they will take steps that will increase the number of consoles sold."

It sounded like only Nintendo's console would be getting it, however that's no longer the case. As explained in some policy clarifications, the system requires a daily authentication, meaning that full offline play is not possible. From the way Spencer explained it to us, this requirement is tied into how they'll hope the Xbox One will serve its users.

Sony is set to sell the PlayStation 4 for a cheaper price than Microsoft's rival Xbox One. The Japanese firm announced at the E3 trade show that its machine would be sold for £349 in the UK, $399 in the US and 399 euros across Europe.
