That's according to noted Windows blogger Paul Thurrott, who has a track record of accuracy. The IllumiRoom technology can alter the appearance of a room, trigger apparent motion, and extend a field of view, all in the name of enabling new gameplay and viewing experiences.

Information on GTA 5's online mode will be revealed "soon", Rockstar has promised. In a post discussing the game's Crews system, which was used previously in last year's Max Payne 3, Rockstar asked fans looking for information on the game's multiplayer to "stay tuned for first info soon".

A supposed box art of Resident Evil 7 has been released on the internet, leading many to speculate that Capcom is getting ready to announce the next in the series. The artwork features an axe-shaped 7 seemingly made of the same type of goo that Resident Evil's zombies have become known for.

The next Xbox console will be revealed in two stages, said Microsoft's interactive entertainment chief of staff Aaron Greenberg on the latest Major Nelson podcast. As was previously announced, the first stage of the reveal begins May 21 in which the company will unveil its next-generation Xbox console. The second presentation will take place during E3 and focus squarely on the games that will launch for the new platform.

Batman: Arkham Origins is a prequel, and as such developer Warner Bros. Montreal is changing the voices of Batman and Joker. "We went in our game back several years [and] we really wanted to cast people that sounded like those established characters but younger versions of them," creative director Eric Holmes told us. So who are the new voices? The Assassin's Creed film adaptation will hit theaters May 22nd, 2015, according to a listing on Box Office Mojo. The film is reportedly being distributed through Fox and will star Prometheus actor Michael Fassbender, role still unknown.
